Since joining InterVarsity my freshman year at Montana State, I have come to know what it really means to follow Jesus and pursue Him whole-heartedly. The unrivaled focus on a tight-knit but borderline insanely welcoming community full of love for both God and one another at IV allows me to be challenged in my convictions and simultaneously build deep, real friendships. I know, without doubt, that my collegiate experience and my walk with God would be pathetic shadows of what they are currently without InterVarsity. Small group Bible studies in particular facilitate a deeper, more realistic understanding of God’s Word and its tangible applicability to the college atmosphere. I see firsthand the impact God has on students at MSU, specifically through the ministry of InterVarsity. Further, the most fun and memorable experiences of my life trace back to IV friends and events. Bottom line: if you’re even thinking about showing up or asking a question about InterVarsity, DO IT. You will have no regrets and be truly blessed as a result. |

When I first came to college, I joined InterVarsity not thinking it would change my life, but it did. My relationship with Jesus has deepened. The small groups I have been involved with have brought amazing friendships; we are a group of girls who investigate Jesus together, and we encourage each other to reach out and serve others. I had never studied the bible like we do at small group. The large group at IV is a blast also. We all come together to worship God and have fellowship with one another. InterVarsity’s purpose is to challenge people to transform their lives, renew the campus, and change the world. God wants to use all of us, but it’s up to us to let Him. |

Upon entering Montana State University, I knew that I wanted to continue to grow in my walk with God. However, I knew that it was going to be difficult making such a big transition from my hometown to the new town of Bozeman. The campus and population seemed so huge and daunting, I was afraid that I would be alone walking out in my faith. I had signed up that I was interested in learning more about InterVarsity when I first arrived. I was so relieved that there was a ministry right on campus that I would be able to attend and I eagerly hoped that it would help me walk closer to God through christian fellowship. InterVaristy proved to be such a great group in this way. Never was there a time when they didn't make me feel welcome, and I experienced much growth in my own walk with God through the messages, worship and even simply the fellowship I had through my small group and InterVarsity events I attended. No one should have to feel alone in their walk with God, and with InterVaristy I found that I was not alone, but surrounded by a community of people who desired to seek and worship God just as I did. |
